pascal menezesPascal is a Principal Program Manager for Skype Business Service Partner Engineering at Microsoft and is a proven technology leader with almost 30 years of experience in internetworking. He has held various positions throughout his career including Program Management, VP of Product Management, VoIP/SIP Architect, Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Chief IP Network Architect, Senior Internetworking Technologist, System Engineer and Network Engineer. He has presented extensively in numerous international events, and is currently the chair for International Multimedia Teleconferencing Consortium (IMTC) UC SDN Task Group, vice-chair for the Open Network Foundation (ONF) North Bound Interface (NBI) group and the vice-chair for a newly formed WFA Wi-Fi Mobile Multimedia Task Group. Pascal also served on the Board of Directors and was a Co-Founder/Vice President for the Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF), Scientific Committee for the MPLS World Congress, IETF Layer 2 MPLS VPN Design Team member, and as Transport, Protocol Technical Chair for the Metro Ethernet Forum and IMTC SIPv6 Task Group. Pascal holds 3 patents with 20 additional patents pending and has co-authored many standards in the IETF, MEF and IP/MPLS Forum. He earned the designation of Subject Matter Expert from the IP/MPLS Forum way back in 2002 and has many outstanding leadership and technical awards from ONF, MEF and IMTC.
