Asif’s core research interests includes Software-Defined Networking (SDN), Network Function Virtualization (NFV), Cloud Computing, Virtualization, Network Security, Blockchain Technology, Consensus Protocols, Distributed systems. In addition to his academic achievements, Asif also has 8+ years of experience in different national and international computer science based organizations. Prior to joining KISTI, Asif worked as an Assistant Manager (in Network & Security) at the National Engineering and Scientific Commission (NESCOM) in Islamabad, Pakistan. In terms of core development interests, he is primarily interested in developing with Java, Python, and C/C++ languages.
